About The Position
Potential first year earnings of $74,670.40 based upon average route hours; actual annual earnings may vary based upon length of route. Operate a class 8 tractor-trailer providing safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries to store locations as part of our company fleet. Requirements
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections
- Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical status
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests
- Must possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
- Must maintain the ability to work flexible hours
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
- Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.
- Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.
- Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.
- Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.
