The Service Technician role at DC Power Tech involves installation and maintenance of DC power systems in the communications and industrial sectors. The technician will work on various tasks including installing batteries, upgrading power plants, and running cables, all while ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.

  • Install batteries and rectifier battery plants of all voltages.
  • Upgrade and replace DC power plants and primary/secondary distribution equipment.
  • Run power cables, crimp lugs, and perform lacing.
  • Experience in upgrading/replacing DC power plants and distribution equipment.
  • Ability to run power cables, crimp lugs, and perform lacing.
  • Understanding of lead-acid battery functionality.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
  • Possess strength and dexterity to use various hand and power tools.
  • Paid weekly with pay day every Friday.
