About The Position

As an Operations Team Lead, you'll assist in leading and coordinating the day-to-day activities for the assigned shift, including that all resources are assigned in a manner to meet or exceed safety, quality, customer service, and cost objectives.

Requirements

• The ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment.
• The ability to fulfill the responsibilities of a physically demanding position - constant lifting.
• The ability to consistently lift up to 50 - 75lbs.
• The ability to team-lift up to 250 lbs occasionally
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible availability for overtime work.

Responsibilities

• Back up the Operations Supervisor in their absence.
• Ensure team members, including temporary employees, understand job instructions, safety requirements, and quality guidelines.
• Identify, document, and develop solution(s) to workflow problems and issues.
• Lead and coordinate all teams and/or activities for the shift to ensure safety, quality, customer expectations, and cost objectives are met.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
• Provide the Operations Supervisor with feedback on team member performance.
• Report customer service, employee safety, equipment, or facility issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Review daily team assignments to ensure that each team is staffed appropriately.
• Update and maintain the schedule to meet customer demand/expectation and/or any information tracking for reports and spreadsheets.
