About The Position

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading daily operations within the store replenishment distribution center, ensuring a safe, accurate, and efficient flow of goods to retail locations. This role oversees safety, operational planning, accuracy, and cost-per-unit performance while motivating and developing team members. The ideal candidate is an energetic multitasker with excellent communication skills who can influence positive outcomes despite challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in distribution, warehousing, or retail replenishment environment.
  • Proven ability to manage productivity, accuracy, and cost-based performance metrics.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience at a power user level, with ability to analyze data and optimize system functionality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement background.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards.
  • Experience with labor management systems and cost-per-unit analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP and WMS reporting, dashboards, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety across all operations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, meetings, and training to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise daily workflows to support timely and accurate store replenishment.
  • Balance labor, equipment, and resources to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational best practices.
  • Monitor and improve performance metrics including accuracy, throughput, and cost per unit.
  • Analyze productivity reports and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
  • Supervise, train, and develop associates to ensure high performance and career growth.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with leadership, associates, and cross-functional partners.
  • Anticipate and resolve operational challenges with a focus on achieving positive outcomes.
  • Influence and motivate others to embrace changes and overcome obstacles.
