The position involves proper handling of incoming products to ensure accurate and available inventory. All tasks must be performed according to best practice procedures. Responsibilities include unloading various types of merchandise, matching skid or box counts to Proof of Delivery documentation, and placing skids where assigned. The employee will also receive products on assigned batches, stock products from vendors, and handle warehouse transfers and small package shipments. Proper placement of products in various storage locations is essential, as well as researching discrepancies and confirming corrections. Team members with experience may be designated as trainers, responsible for conducting training programs and ensuring documentation is complete.
