DC Maintenance Technician C – 1st shift, Pay Rate $22.30/hr
About The Position
As a Maintenance Technician C, you’ll be part of our Distribution Center team located in Jackson, TN. You’ll get to repair, maintain, troubleshoot and install facility and other equipment, along with performing preventative maintenance throughout facility. You’ll also get to: Troubleshoot and problem solve equipment issues. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as necessary. Participate in the improvements of site equipment to maximize productivity. Assist with major repairs/rebuilds on facility and other equipment Exercise necessary precautions to ensure personal safety and safety of others. Maintain clean and orderly work area according to the 5S principles. Work in a team environment. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all assigned work orders. Uphold 5S standards. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- An Industrial Maintenance diploma or Technical Certificate plus 2 years’ experience or training as related to the technical field - Or - Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical prints and schematics.
- Ability to understand and follow computer software.
- Moderate mechanical and electrical understanding.
- A working knowledge of pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics and mechanics.
- A strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good communication skills.
