About The Position

The DC Maintenance Specialist I is responsible for the basic repair and general facilities and grounds maintenance at the Distribution Center in Twinsburg, OH. This part-time position involves keeping the grounds mowed, weeds pulled from plant beds, trees trimmed, and all trash picked up at all buildings in the DC facility and complex. The role also includes cleaning, welding, and repairing totes as required, maintaining all equipment used for ground maintenance, performing preventive battery maintenance, and providing detailed maintenance records for quarterly audits. Additionally, the specialist will assist in moves at the DC, including taking apart and setting up new cubicles and offices, movable partitions, and office furniture and equipment. General maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and some fabrication will also be part of the job. The specialist will provide preventative maintenance to company vehicles and maintain safety standards while operating, identifying unsafe practices and situations.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and fabrication.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
