About The Position

The Load Coordinator will be responsible for allocating orders for shipment by using the Shop Floor system. The Shipping Coordinator functions include, but are not limited to, scheduling controllers (trucking companies), communicating directly with corporate personnel, upper management, and security personnel, and inputting data into the SAP system. Organizational skills are essential, as the role also involves filing, answering phones, and performing other clerical duties as required by the Shipping Supervisor. The position may also require assisting truck drivers with any questions they may have and performing all other general Shipping Coordinator functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Knowledgeable in SAP and Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Loading Controller knowledge
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong people skills and listening skills
• Flexibility

Nice To Haves

• Similar industry experience preferred
• Ability to learn and operate the Shop Floor and Order Management System
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
