We are hiring DC Warehouse Equipment Operators to join the 2nd Shift team(s). The current shift start time will be 4:00pm. Working Monday – Friday; overtime as required. This position pays: $21.00 per hour; plus $1.50 shift differential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of experience operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to excel within a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Ability to safely operate Powered Industrial Equipment such as Order Pickers, Forklifts, etc. (securely harnessed) and/or work on the multi-level mezzanine at heights of 30+ ft.
  • Ability to operate RF Scan Guns, calculators, and other equipment & technology as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Material handling equipment experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, sort, pull, store, and load products in assigned locations while safely operating PIT equipment, including order picker, standup forklift, and reach truck.
  • Accurately and safely stage products and load flatbed trucks for shipment and local delivery.
  • Process replenishments in assigned locations using the required PIT as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning in assigned zones.
  • Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner.
  • Perform tasks using a hand-held RF unit/scanner or voice picking system.
