About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7-10 years of related senior leadership experience in Supply Chain/Distribution Management or equivalent education and experience.
  • Progressive distribution center management experience with a demonstrated ability to achieve results.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and motivational skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and knowledge of inventory control best practices.
  • Knowledgeable about DOT and OSHA regulations and human resource policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle and Kronos systems.
  • Strong leadership skills across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain an environment for team development through performance assessments and skill identification.
  • Plan, direct, and schedule the work of warehouse team members.
  • Enforce company work and safety rules.
  • Ensure sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Handle customer issues promptly and assist other departments as needed.
  • Communicate changes to the customer base.
  • Approve credits and ensure proper pricing, costing, and margins.
  • Review production reports and communicate results to the team and senior leadership.
  • Protect company assets by implementing security measures.
  • Manage maintenance and repairs on equipment and the facility.
  • Manage expenses and payroll against budget.
  • Negotiate and administer labor contracts if applicable.
