About The Position

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a dedicated team member to operate fork trucks in a safe, efficient, and effective manner while unloading trucks and moving freight within the distribution center (DC). The essential job functions include moving incoming merchandise from truck to dock, stocking all rack merchandise, and arranging rack surplus appropriately. Team members will also be responsible for setting down rack surplus for zones to facilitate order fulfillment and replenishments. Additional tasks may include replenishing outbound totes, maintaining mezzanine zones, and ensuring safety standards are upheld while operating equipment. Experienced team members may serve as trainers, taking ownership of the DC target training program and ensuring all training is conducted according to schedule. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must work well in a team environment.
• Operating knowledge of fork trucks and power equipment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience operating various types of power equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of parts lines in warehouse and surplus merchandise locations.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Move incoming merchandise from truck to dock and dock to correct stocking areas.
• Stock all rack merchandise and arrange rack surplus from zones appropriately.
• Set down rack surplus for zones to facilitate order fulfillment and replenishments.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks that require a fork truck.
• Replenish outbound totes as needed.
• Assist with maintaining mezzanine zones.
• Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices.
• Train new team members and convey departmental or procedural changes.
