About The Position

Operate fork trucks in a safe, efficient, and effective manner while unloading trucks and moving freight within the DC. The position involves moving incoming merchandise from truck to dock, and dock to correct stocking areas. Responsibilities include stocking all rack merchandise and arranging rack surplus from zones appropriately, setting down rack surplus for zones to fill orders and replenish stocking locations, and performing miscellaneous tasks that require a fork truck. The role also includes replenishing outbound totes as needed, assisting with maintaining mezzanine zones, and maintaining safety standards while operating. Team members with experience may be designated as trainers, taking ownership of the DC target training program, ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, and that all documentation is complete. Trainers will explain specific job duties and functions to help ensure the success of new team members and convey any departmental or procedural changes to existing team members. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Operating knowledge of fork trucks and power equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience operating various types of power equipment.
  • Advanced knowledge of parts lines in warehouse and surplus merchandise locations.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
