About The Position

The Distribution Center Operations Coordinator supports daily warehouse and order fulfillment operations by managing inquiries, resolving operational issues, and coordinating inventory, shipping, and order workflows. This role serves as a key contact for internal teams, customers, vendors, and carriers to ensure timely resolution of issues, accurate order processing, and adherence to standard operating procedures. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • High School diploma or relevant clerical experience.
  • Demonstrated skills using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Research and address all submitted DC Inquiries. Follow-up on inquiries that require additional information or actions to assure timely completion. Assign inquiries to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Take phone calls and emails from customers, associates, and other collaborators to address or provide direction on any questions or issues.
  • Track shipping errors, production numbers, inventory adjustments and non-conformances for reporting purposes and work on root cause identification.
  • Ability to use, be certified in and operate warehouse power equipment to research and resolve reported issues and questions.
  • Attendance and leave tracking for the Distribution Center.
  • Process and resolve all non-conforming orders on exception reporting.
  • Review all must ships and priority shipments for expediting and completion. Arrange all expedite courier shipments.
  • Work with order management system to establish constant workflow and maintenance of daily orders.
  • Collaborate with vendors, freight carriers and other external providers as a part of normal daily functions.
  • Handle local expenses and complete all credit card reconciliation procedures.
  • Review the aged outbound warehouse transfer reports for resolution and completion.
  • Review assigned Accounts Payable non-conformances and complete all open issues.
  • File freight claims and track completion. Provide resolution on any customer or internal adjustments from those completed claims.
  • Managing & filing documents according to standard operating procedures. Organize and out file all retention documents with our 3rd party vendor.
  • Work the inventory sync report across WMS and ERP platforms to eliminate inventory variances.
  • Review and research inventory variances throughout the day and through reporting to eliminate or proactively root cause any adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Control team on the cycle count process metrics related to adjustments, completion, and accuracy.
  • Works within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
  • Performs other duties and works on special projects as assigned.
