The Distribution Center Robotics Technician will service, maintain, and repair robotics and automated production systems used in the DC for picking, packing, sorting, etc. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Oversee the configuration and operation of automated systems within the distribution center. Inspect, clean, repair, and maintain robotic machinery and equipment to ensure full functionality. Calibrate equipment accordingly to achieve maximum results. Test and run diagnostics to evaluate system efficiency. Detect and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement solutions. Align, fit, or assemble parts or devices, using hand tools, power tools, etc. Install new robotic systems or parts based on operating specifications. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates properly to meet safety regulations and standards. Maintain detailed documentation and instructions for maintenance and repairs performed. Maintain supply inventory and order and source replacement parts, sensors, cables, etc. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for leadership, DC team members, and internal/external partners in regards to robotics equipment. Maintain thorough knowledge of the automation within the DC and identify application opportunities. Travel as needed. All other duties as assigned.
