About The Position

Summary of Description: Performs material receiving, stocking and pulling functions and tasks required to fulfill the requirements of the EWD Warehouse. Performs general warehouse duties including housekeeping, product re-arrangement and other duties as assigned by management. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. • Support the Eastern Auto Parts Warehouse vision and mission in all activities. • Accept and demonstrate the Eastern Auto Parts Warehouse Core Values of commitment, open communication, respect and excellent service. • Represent the Eastern Auto Parts Warehouse and conduct all activities in a professional, business-like manner • Comply with all Company employment policies and safety and substance abuse prevention policies. • Properly receive and stock material and pick warehouse inventory using electronic scanning equipment. • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a sense of urgency. • Ability to multi task and shift priorities as they become necessary. • Ability to work in a team environment and self-motivate. • Accurately store, locate and pick warehouse inventory. QualificationsQualifications: • Ability to meet productivity requirements established for order completion, fill rate accuracy and lines picked/packed • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve. • Ability to work a flexible time schedule between the core hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. • Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays. • Ability to pass random drug screening Physical Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the physical abilities needed to perform the essential function of this position. • Walking and standing for 6-10 hours per day • Vision adequate for safe working in a warehouse environment. • Hearing and vision adequate for working in a warehouse. • Repetitive use of hands for writing and typing • Frequent bending twisting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping • Frequently lifting objects weighing 5 - 50 lbs. • Must wear company issued back brace safety equipment at all times • Ability to climb steps (up to 3 stair cases repetitively) • Ability to be certified in warehouse equipment usage (Lift truck, hand truck, forklift, etc.) NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
