AriensCo, a leader in outdoor equipment manufacturing, is seeking a motivated and skilled Distribution Center Associate to become an integral part of our team in Shepherdsville, KY. Position pay $20/hr. + $2/hr. shift differential for all hours worked.

Requirements

Possess the ability to skillfully use basic hand tools for various tasks and adjustments.
Bring basic computer literacy, coupled with essential math and reading abilities, to effectively manage tasks and processes.
Always prioritize and perform job functions with a strong focus on safety, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Capable of comprehending and consistently following established work practices to maintain efficiency and quality.
Must be able to fluently read invoices and comprehend commands in English, particularly in relation to our picking system, to ensure smooth and effective operations.
Required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection and safety shoes.
Required to work in a hot and humid or cold environment.
Required to stand/walk at least 8 hours per day.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, 35 lbs frequently, push, pull, twist, reach, bend, squat.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate proficiency in accurately selecting products to fulfill customer orders with precision and speed.
Ensure products are securely prepared for shipping, maintaining their quality and integrity during transit.
Show exceptional attention to detail by thoroughly verifying each order against customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Handle essential shipping documents with care, ensuring they are accurately maintained and organized.
Efficiently monitor and manage our inventory of packaging supplies, ensuring they are readily available and stored properly.
Adapt to various tasks as needed, contributing to different aspects of operations to support evolving customer needs and business objectives.
Possess certification in operating diverse types of forklifts (including sit-down, stand-up, and reach models), contributing to efficient warehouse operations.
Apply the principles of 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) to enhance and maintain an organized, efficient, and safe workspace.
