The DBA assists in maintaining, optimizing, and securing database systems. This role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementing improvements to support data management needs. the DBA collaborates with various teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless database operations and support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Has training or practical experience in database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Possesses foundational understanding of database structures, principles, and best practices.
• Must have good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have active secret federal secret clearance

Nice To Haves

• Training or experience with database security, backup and recovery, disaster recovery planning, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration tools is essential.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.
