About The Position

The DBA / Interface Analyst’s role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of I.T. systems investments. Under general direction, supports and performs feasibility, analytical, and cost/benefit studies regarding Data Bases, Interface and related systems. Performs data mapping, reporting and data translations; ensures system integrity, compatibility, and standardization. Coordinates and maintains Data Bases and Interfaces. Ensures the implementation of Data Bases, Interfaces, SQL reporting, along with other reporting platforms and daily operation of all computer systems contained within the responsibility. This includes oversight of both software and hardware. Performs duties in support of the Health System mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner. The Systems Analyst will provide On-Call after hours support as required across IT Business and Acute Ancillary appliations. Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, with minimum 3 years experience in hospital environment.
  • Demonstrated advanced experience in Data Base and Interfacing software.
  • Proven abilities to work on I.T. teams.
  • A track record in implementing and upgrading software that will provide value to the customer base.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the I.T. and user community.
  • Must be willing to enthusiastically embrace all key organizational initiatives.
  • Associates Degree or a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
