About The Position

The Ship from Store (SFS) Picking/Packing Coordinator is responsible for delivering a premium customer experience by overseeing the accurate picking and packing of online orders. This role ensures that orders are processed efficiently to maximize productivity, allowing hundreds of orders to be shipped directly to customers. The coordinator works closely with store management to schedule shifts and maintain high standards in the picking and packing process, while also inspiring creativity in customers and team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a customer-centric environment.
• Preferred: 3+ years of supervisory experience or order fulfillment roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a premium customer experience by greeting customers and using the F.A.S.T. service model.
• Engage with customers to understand their project needs and guide them to products.
• Pick, prepare, and pack online orders for the Ship from Store (SFS) and Buy Online Pick up In Store (BOPIS) programs.
• Maintain high standards of accurate picking and oversee the packing process.
• Assemble, label, and complete system transactions for shipping accurately and efficiently.
• Unload freight and sort it according to company procedures.
• Load completed orders onto the truck for delivery to customers.
• Stock shelves accurately according to planogram while maintaining productivity.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and meet shipping quotas.
• Train new team members on JOANN processes and motivate the team to meet quotas.
