About The Position

We are seeking CDL A Drivers or CDL B Drivers with a trailer endorsement to safely and responsibly operate a company vehicle in picking up and delivering equipment and aggregates to specific locations. Properly loading, unloading and securing / tying down heavy equipment for over the road transportation. Here's what you'll be doing: Safe operation of a low bed tractor trailer, weighing in excess of 100,000 pounds, when full. This requires perceptual skills to monitor a sometimes-complex driving situation, the judgment skills to make quick decisions when necessary, manipulative skills to control an oversize steering wheel, shift gears using a manual transmission, and maneuver the truck in crowded areas. Safely operate various heavy construction and paving equipment. Perform Pre-trip & Post-trip Inspections; Manage & Maintain Accurate Documentation and report any issues or incidents to the Dispatcher on duty. Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner always. Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed (Team Atmosphere, Everyone Helps). Requirements

Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements.
Heavy hauling experience required. Low bed experience preferred.
Clean driving record.
Ability to safely load, secure, and transport heavy equipment and materials.
Familiarity with DOT regulations, weight restrictions, mileage logs, travel restrictions, and safety protocols.
Must pass DOT physical, pre-employment and random drug screen and criminal background check.
Strong work ethic and reliability. Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Must be able to work after hours as necessary, including on-call as needed. Positions may require some nights, weekends, holiday, and emergency coverage as needed.
