About The Position
First Impressions Early Learning Center is seeking energetic and positive individuals to join our staff as Daycare Teaching Assistants. We currently have both full-time and part-time positions available. The ideal candidates will have experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or preschool setting, and must thoroughly enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The role requires individuals who are loving, caring, and patient, with the ability to care for multiple children simultaneously and multitask effectively. Staff members are required to complete the initial 30 STARS clock hour course, along with 10 additional hours of training each year. Additionally, all staff must possess a food handler's permit, undergo bloodborne pathogens training, complete state-required EQEL year 1 training, and have first aid and CPR training, including sleep safe training. It is also mandatory for staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. At First Impressions, our staff work collaboratively, sharing all classroom responsibilities to meet the individual needs of the children. We are looking to hire immediately, with current openings for a full-time infant position and a full-time position working with preschoolers.
