Requirements

• Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency.
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, including lifting infants in and out of cribs.

• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within the first 30 days of employment.
• 2 Year degree in early childhood or related field preferred for Infant - Pre-Kindergarten Teachers.

Responsibilities

• Count the heads of numerous moving small children accurately.
• Receive hugs from each child in the class while managing their feelings.
• Laugh at children's jokes, even if they are confusing.
• Communicate bathroom needs to the class while multitasking with other activities.
• Sing songs, help clean up toys, hand out snacks, and assist children with drawing.
