About Us More than a daycare, The Learning Experience is a nurturing early learning center serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We focus on building confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning through hands-on, play-based education. At The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow. Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff. At TLE®, we’ve created a full cast of characters that become our little learners’ educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
At least 6 months of childcare, daycare, or preschool experience (1 year preferred)
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
Must meet all Michigan childcare licensing requirements

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred
CPR and First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers
Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum using play-based learning
Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
Build strong relationships with families and teammates
Communicate daily with parents about milestones and classroom activities
Collaborate with leadership to maintain a positive, high-quality learning environment
