Daycare Custodian / Teacher Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Daycare Custodian / Teacher Assistant. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and staff, while also providing occasional classroom support during staff breaks. Requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working in a childcare environment
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, and childcare is a plus
- Must pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED) required

Responsibilities
- Perform daily laundry duties (bedding, linens, etc.)
- Clean and maintain hallway floors
- Handle mid-day trash collection and disposal
- Light mopping during naptime as needed
- Clean interior windows and glass surfaces
- Perform routine carpet cleaning and upkeep
- Maintain general cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility
- Step in as a Teacher Assistant during staff breaks, supporting classroom activities and supervision
