About The Position

The Assistant Director at our Daycare Center plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. This position is responsible for promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, while also maintaining compliance with company and state licensing standards. The Assistant Director will take sole responsibility for the school in the absence of the Director, fostering a caring and educational environment for children and parents alike.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• Must meet state requirements for education and center/school requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in early childhood education beyond the required 1 year.
• Additional certifications in child development or education.
