About The Position

The Aurora R-VIII School District is seeking a full-time Daycare Care Giver for the daycare center located at the Pate Early Childhood Center for the 2025/2026 school year, with duties to begin after onboarding paperwork is completed. The daycare Schedule is 6:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m M-TH and some Fridays per the academic calendar. Applicants should possess good record-keeping skills to maintain daily records of children's activities, behaviors, meals, naps, diapering, and toilet training. Candidates must provide nurturing support and have an inclusive approach to all children, plus be able to engage in hands-on activities that introduce new experiences to infants and toddlers. Candidates need to be able to follow a curriculum and a daily schedule as well as have the capability to attend to an individual child's needs while simultaneously taking care of other children. Applicants need to be able to perform daily duties, including but not limited to: feeding, diapering, toilet training, monitoring nap time, sanitizing classrooms, and equipment. Additional qualifications include: love for children, strong and positive work ethic, pleasant and effective communication skills, and the ability to work with infants and toddlers on a daily basis.
