About The Position

Job Summary: The CNA/Activity Aid will provide immediate personal care to clients; observe and report any changes in physical condition or behavior to program director and RN consultant, assist with planning, preparing and implementing daily activity program and serve meals/snacks and assist with clean-up as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid training and certification
• Previous work with elderly or physically challenged persons is desirable.
• Ability to maintain outgoing, cheerful enthusiastic personality
• Ability to function as a team player
• Willingness and ability to learn
• Demonstrate respect for the elderly and/or physically challenged
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to learn and appreciate others efforts

Responsibilities

• Assisting with client care and programming.
• Make daily reminder calls to clients and establish attendance list
• Provide leadership for planning monthly client activity calendars.
