About The Position

Martignetti Companies is looking for reliable, hardworking, day warehouse employees to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Come join our amazing warehouse team! Position Overview: Warehouse employees will place cases of product onto skids, places product in the correct location in the warehouse pulls product according to order, and load and unloads semi-trailer. Qualified individuals will be able to perform loader duties or palletizer duties. This is a union position (Local 25, 653, and 122). Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30am-5:30pm Company Benefits: Fully Paid Medical Benefits, once you meet the required hours Eligible for Sick Leave Company Funded Pension Plan 401(k) Eligible to earn overtime by the day Key Accountabilities: Load and unload trailers and or straight trucks utilizing material handling equipment Drive over dock plates onto vehicles Repetitively lift, push, pull, bend, and reach cases averaging 50lbs. Load cases into their proper locations both in racks as well as the bottle pick area Subject to go out on the road as a delivery helper

Requirements

Ability to demonstrate effective use of safety rules including proper lifting
Ability to read and record orders, inventory, and pallet tickets with a skill level normally acquired through high school education
Ability to lift cases averaging 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height
Ability to operate a two-wheeled hand truck, pushing and pulling weights exceeding 60lbs.
Knowledge in Material Handling Equipment: forklifts (both stand-up and sit-down models), order pickers, electric jack, and electric pallet jack preferred. Martignetti Companies will provide training and certification in warehouse equipment usage.
Must be qualified to operate an RF scanner
Equipment and scanners attached to forklifts and order pickers

Nice To Haves

Knowledge in Material Handling Equipment: forklifts (both stand-up and sit-down models), order pickers, electric jack, and electric pallet jack preferred.
