About The Position

The Day Warehouse Worker plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring the timely shipping and receiving of products while maintaining quality and safety standards. This position involves active participation in various warehouse duties, contributing to the overall success of the company's distribution process.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Ability to work scheduled times and required overtime.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Capability to lift, stack, and pull products weighing between 10-90 pounds from various heights.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• 6+ months of experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Experience in foodservice distribution or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, and order selection.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the warehouse area, loading dock, and trailers.
• Conducts daily safety checks of assigned forklift/pallet jack according to company policy.
• Performs damage control checks on received items and communicates with supervisors regarding issues.
• Replaces batteries in equipment and completes vehicle inspection checklists.
• Reviews work schedules and prepares for daily operations based on production paperwork.
• Utilizes required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear during operations.
• Meets productivity and accuracy standards as per company guidelines.
• Secures all equipment and completes necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
