About The Position

The Day Warehouse Associate works closely with the Day Warehouse Supervisor to support the daily operations of the warehouse within a high-volume beverage distribution environment. Responsibilities include product repacking and breakage processing, restocking pick locations, receiving and putting away inbound product, organizing empties and dunnage, and assisting with the preparation and loading of delivery orders. This role is essential to maintaining inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and efficient delivery operations. Associates must work safely, maintain productivity standards, and support the overall flow of product through the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers.

Requirements

No previous warehouse experience required; training will be provided.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to meet requirements for operating company vehicles if needed.

Responsibilities

Repack damaged cases and breakage and return sellable product to inventory in accordance with company procedures.
Restock pick locations throughout the warehouse to ensure delivery selectors have adequate product available to complete route orders.
Assist with unloading inbound receiving trucks and verifying product quantities.
Put away received product into proper warehouse storage locations using appropriate equipment.
Sort, organize, and stack empty dunnage including cases, pallets, dividers, and kegs.
Strip delivery trucks of returned empties and organize them in designated warehouse areas.
Assemble and stage customer or distributor pickup orders.
Assist with assembling and loading delivery trucks to ensure routes leave on schedule.
Make emergency or special deliveries to customers when operationally necessary.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse work area at all times.
Follow all company safety procedures and operate warehouse equipment properly.
Day warehouse personnel may be utilized as non-CDL delivery drivers or delivery helpers when operational needs require.
Support a Positive Work Environment: Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and teamwork while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic in daily interactions with coworkers and supervisors.
Provide Internal and External Service: Support internal warehouse operations and delivery teams while contributing to excellent service for customers, vendors, and other departments within the company.
Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute ideas that help improve warehouse efficiency, safety, and operational performance.
Ensure breakage and damaged product are properly processed, repacked, and returned to inventory.
Support warehouse productivity by maintaining organized inventory locations and properly stocked picking areas.
Assist with loading and delivery support to ensure accurate and timely distribution of product to customers.
Maintain safety standards and help ensure a clean and organized warehouse environment.
