About The Position

The Day Tutor for the McKinney Vento program is responsible for providing instructional support to students, maintaining attendance records, and managing student behavior. This part-time position requires flexibility in scheduling and adherence to safety procedures, with duties assigned by the principal.

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years old
• Possess a High School Diploma (HSD) or GED
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Georgia Teaching Certificate preferred
• Non-Certified candidates must meet the above educational requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily student attendance reports for assigned students
• Develop, plan, and implement a variety of student instructional activities
• Manage student behavior effectively
• Follow the daily time schedule as assigned by the principal
• Adhere to site safety procedures
• Assume other duties as assigned by the principal
