About The Position
We are seeking reliable, adaptable, and engaging substitute teachers who are ready to step into PK-8th grade classrooms to support our students and uphold our learning environment when regular teachers are absent. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children of varying ages.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required (education or related field preferred).
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple grade levels and adapt to different subject areas.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
- Deep care for children and interest
Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons and activities according to the teacher's plans or, when necessary, adapt instruction to meet students' needs.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
- Follow school policies, procedures, and schedules to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and recess/lunch periods.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and administrators regarding student needs and daily updates.
