About The Position

The Day Stocker position at Performance Food Group is essential for maintaining the efficient flow of products within the warehouse. This role involves actively and safely managing inbound, outbound, and stored products while ensuring quality standards are met. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
  • Ability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
  • Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer, and dry
  • Ability to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as Forklift operation
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

  • Move and track all inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse.
  • Offload, stock, select, and replenish products.
  • Receive all inbound merchandise and locate proper pick location.
  • Restock order pick and flow lines to prepare warehouse for order selection.
  • Ensure placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all areas including balers, aisles, racking, and floors.
  • Transfer merchandise from the receiving area to its appropriate location.
  • Consolidate merchandise into picking containers as necessary.
  • Pack products securely in cartons and totes.
  • Ensure application of shipping ID and mark cartons/totes with truck run and stop number.
  • Ensure safe and efficient movement and tracking of products within the warehouse.
  • Maintain inventory integrity by adhering to system processes.
  • Pull orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Perform end of shift tasks such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
  • Maintain an orderly workstation and return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
  • Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
  • Report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
