Compensation Base salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 Weekly Production Bonus Target: 130% Profit Sharing: 15% Total Compensation = $132,000 - $158,000 annually Why This Area?This area provides a welcoming community with excellent schools and many family-friendly activities surrounded by nature. In the tri-state area, residents can choose the state with the best financial benefits.What You'll DoAs an Assistant Plant Manager at Nucor Tubular Products in Cedar Springs, you will serve as a bridge between the leadership and frontline supervisors. Your focus will be ensuring the department operates safely, efficiently, and profitability while focusing on strategic planning, resource allocation, and achieving long-term goals. You will oversee a product line department that has around 30 - 40 teammates and manage a revenue under supervision of about $80 million dollars.

Requirements

  • A strong work-ethic and can-do attitude
  • The willingness to learn the industry. Prior experience in Electroplating/EGV/HDG operations is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • 7 years of demonstrated experience managing and leading others
  • 2 to 4 years in operations, maintenance, industrial, or manufacturing setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in math, science, or engineering is preferred
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule that can include 60+ hour work weeks – days and night shift included
  • Proficiency at creating excel spreadsheets
  • Proficiency in developing and presenting PowerPoint presentations
  • Willingness to relocate is a plus
