About The Position
Are you a certified caregiver looking for daytime hours in the Decatur area while making a meaningful impact? At HomeWell Care Services of Northeast Atlanta, our day shift caregivers help clients start and move through their day with dignity, safety, and compassionate care. We value your skills, time, and dedication, and we offer flexibility, support, and opportunities to grow. What You’ll Do (Day Shift Care, typically 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) :
Requirements
- Active CNA, HHA, or PCA certification in the state of Georgia
- Availability to work day shifts (weekday availability strongly preferred)
- Comfort providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and TB test
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of experience caring for seniors or homebound individuals (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care including bathing, toileting, grooming, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Assist clients with morning routines and daily activities
- Provide companionship and meaningful one-on-one support
- Assist with mobility, safety monitoring, and errands as needed
- Follow individualized care plans and document care updates
- Promote safety, comfort, and independence at home
