Job Description Assists students in adjusting to Center life by providing supervision, behavior modification, and acting as a mentor. Distribute dorm supplies to each dorm to ensure that students have the necessary supplies for maintaining a clean environment. Conduct daily inspections of student rooms Monday through Friday of each week. Ensures that each student receives a copy of the inspection sheet for their room. Ensures assigned dormitories are maintained in good repair by turning in work orders to the maintenance department. Repair and or replace broken furniture, bulletin boards, and other minor repair in the dormitories. Monitor and supervise students in the center cafeteria during the breakfast meal. Supervise the packing out of student(s) who are being separated from the program during the school day. Ensures that the department supply building is well maintained, neat, and clean at all times. Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills. Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property. Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility. Fosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning. Attends all required staff training opportunities.
