About The Position

Oversee daily operations of assigned day programs to ensure safe, engaging, and person-centered services Ensure implementation of Individual Program Plans (IPPs), behavior support plans, and health protocols Monitor program schedules, activities, transportation coordination, and staffing coverage Address participant concerns, incidents, and emergencies in accordance with agency policy and licensing requirements Ensure programs promote independence, skill development, community integration, and dignity Supervision & Staff Leadership Supervise, coach, and support Program Coordinators and assigned program staff Conduct regular staff meetings, supervision sessions, and performance evaluations Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of program staff Provide guidance on documentation, professional boundaries, and best practices in service delivery Address performance issues promptly and professionally in collaboration with HR Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with Regional Center requirements, Title 17, Title 22, and other applicable regulations Review documentation for accuracy and timeliness (attendance, progress notes, incident reports, etc.) Participate in internal audits, licensing visits, and quality improvement initiatives Maintain confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance Collaboration & Communication Act as a liaison between families, Regional Center service coordinators, vendors, and community partners Participate in IPP meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings Communicate program updates, concerns, and outcomes to leadership Promote positive relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders Administrative Responsibilities Assist with program budgeting, supply management, and scheduling Review and approve timesheets and leave requests as assigned Support development and implementation of new programs or service enhancements Participate in agency committees, trainings, and leadership initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a human services setting
  • Strong understanding of person-centered planning and positive behavior support
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing disability services
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines
  • Proficient with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs with reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand, walk, and engage in program activities throughout the day
  • May require local travel to program sites and community locations
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Criminal background clearance as required by state regulations
  • TB clearance and required health screenings
