Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Day Program Instructor / Program Specialist for Day Program in the Washington area. Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years by 'helping individuals and families with life's changing needs'. The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. This position is responsible for ensuring the health, safety and well-being of persons with intellectual disabilities by assisting in the development and implementation of appropriate plans. This position helps with carrying out program activities, observing and reporting performance of clients in a variety of situations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This full-time position works a Monday through Friday schedule of 8am to 4pm with weekends off! Opportunities for overtime available! No on call and no shift coverage responsibility!
