Day Program Caregiver
About The Position
New Gateways, Inc. is looking for caring, dependable individuals to join our team as Caregivers. In this role, you will support adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a structured day program setting, helping them build independence, confidence, and meaningful connections. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and wants to make a positive impact every day. Requirements
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Comfort assisting with adult total personal care
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist adults with daily living skills and personal care
- Support community inclusion and structured activities
- Work collaboratively in a team/classroom environment
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging setting
- Drive a company vehicle as needed
