About The Position

Lifesteps is hiring a Part-Time Day Program Aide / Van Driver in the Washington area. Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years by helping individuals and families with life's changing needs. The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. An entry level position responsible for assisting the Senior Supervisor/Coordinator/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities, observing and reporting performance of clients in a variety of situations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This part-time position works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:15am to 2:00pm.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift 200lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain clearance (Act 33, 34, 151).
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Supervisor/Coordinator/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities.
• Observe and report performance of clients in a variety of situations.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
