About The Position

Job Opportunity: Janitorial Day Porter Location: Davis Furniture | High Point, NC Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour Are you a proactive professional with a keen eye for detail? Davis Furniture is looking for a dedicated Day Porter to join our team. Unlike a standard evening cleaning crew, our Day Porter serves as a vital part of our daily operations, ensuring our facility stays guest-ready and functional while interacting with staff and visitors. Schedule & Benefits Days: Monday – Friday Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Full-Time) Environment: A professional, local furniture manufacturing and showroom setting. Core Responsibilities As a Day Porter, you are the "face" of our facility’s cleanliness. Your duties will include: Supply Management: Restocking restrooms and organizing/putting away janitorial supplies. Restroom Maintenance: Frequent touch-ups and deep cleaning of restrooms throughout the day. General Cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, and pulling trash in common areas and offices. Facility Upkeep: Addressing spills or cleaning needs immediately as they arise. Supervisory Tasks: Completing additional cleaning projects as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional cleaning experience. Previous experience in a Day Porter role is highly preferred. Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills; you must be comfortable working around employees and clients in a professional manner. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively. Detail-Oriented: Ability to spot a smudge or a low-stock item before anyone else does. Why Apply? Requirements
