We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Day Porter to help maintain a clean and organized environment in our call center. This position is crucial in ensuring a comfortable and professional workspace for our employees and clients. Job Summary: The Day Porter at North End Teleservices will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the call center, with a primary focus on the men's and women's restrooms and break rooms. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and take pride in creating a welcoming and hygienic environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and practices.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restroom facilities regularly.
Restock restroom supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
Ensure that restroom fixtures are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
Break Room Maintenance: Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and countertops in the break rooms.
Empty and clean garbage receptacles.
Maintain a clean and organized appearance in break rooms.
General Cleaning: Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming common areas.
Clean glass surfaces and mirrors as needed.
Waste Management: Properly dispose of trash and recyclables.
Monitor and replace trash bags as necessary.
Supply Inventory: Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and restroom/break room supplies.
Report supply needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Follow company policies and procedures related to cleaning and maintenance.
