About The Position

Weekend Day Porter position at Lot Management, a fast-growing maintenance company specializing in residential, commercial property, and outdoor retail spaces. The job is located at 9710 Woodman Ave, Arleta CA 91331, with a schedule of Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, totaling 8 hours per week. The pay is $17.28 per hour, with weekly pay provided. Day porters are essential in every property, and there are immediate openings for this role.

Requirements

• Janitorial experience preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Meet the physical requirements: constantly walking, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, reaching over the shoulder, lifting, and carrying.
• Constant weight – 1-35 lbs. Occasional weight – 36-50 lbs.

• Day porter/janitor/custodian experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash as needed and empty trash receptacles.
• Perform cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning cobwebs, wiping down surfaces, restroom cleaning, etc.
• Clean exterior surfaces of windows, windowsills, and doors.
• Remove and/or clean up any debris or soil such as stickers, chewing gum, coffee spills, graffiti, etc.
• Continuously walk the property to inspect all public areas for cleanliness.
• Notify the supervisor in case there is a need for repairs.
• Required to always wear the appropriate safety equipment for the task.
