Day Porter/Daytime Property Maintenance Position
About The Position
Day Time Porter Pick-up Truck Driver Employment type: Full Time, With Some Overtime And Extra Work Opportunities. Do you take pride in a job well done? Do you mind getting your hands dirty? What exactly does a Day Porter do? Our crews clean the outdoor areas of shopping centers, office buildings, and industrial buildings during morning/day hours, removing trash and debris and making the outside of the properties presentable to customers. Successful employees have often come from the following industries: Truck driver, construction worker, laborer, tractor driver, night shift, maintenance industries, carpet cleaner, own boss, janitor, janitorial, cleaning industries, roofer, landscaper, drywall installer, forklift operator, trash and garbage truck, roll-off truck, roller operator, pressure washer, farm equipment, tire changer, quick lube, Vactor operator, auto service technician, waste management. We are a locally owned, family-oriented business that was established in 1991 and we are seeking qualified candidates for our daily day portering position. Full time work is available. Ideal candidate must be able to work independently and be available any day of the week. Employment references are encouraged. WE ARE A DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE. The schedule for this job is flexible. We would like our porter to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, but the hours and days worked can be determined by the employee before hiring. -There will be a 45 minute paid lunch. -Pay starts out at $15 per hour while training. Pay is taken to $17 per hour once employee has been trained and has been working by themselves for thirty (30) days. Raises will be given based upon performance and tenure. -Opportunity for overtime is available. -Opportunity for extra income is available with dumpsters/additional mess cleanups at any properties. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours
