SUMMARY: The production relief person must know and understand every job in the production area. Hours and days off will vary from week to week. Always adheres to all USDA, GMP and safety regulations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Work in a safe manner. Work well with other employees. Follow and understand all of the “Standard Operating Procedures.” Obtain a pasteurizer’s license within three attempts. Obtain a forklift operators license. Pasteurize milk and milk products according to the law. Perform the following jobs on all shifts: HTST, starter maker, vat operator, belts, RMC operator, sanitation clean-up, brine operator, rework, packaging, dry cookers. Must be able to run all equipment efficiently. When not providing relief, this position may be assigned to the packaging department based upon business need. Responsible for maintaining a clear, orderly, and neat work area. Respect Physical Demands of job listed in “Physical Demands” section below. Attendance at work is an essential job duty. Job requires regular attendance and work to be performed at the Tulare-Levin plant site. All other assigned duties.
