About The Position
The Role: To maintain the integrity and cleanliness of Ruoff Music Center through venue repairs, preventative maintenance and groundskeeping. Responsibilities
- Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned. Duties include, but are not limited to, pressure washing, fire hosing/washing of the entire venue
- Assist with venue projects, including but not limited to, painting, construction, building repairs, plumbing and electrical
- Venue setup, including but not limited to, setup of tables, chairs, tents and bike rack
- Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty mechanical, electrical and structural issues, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Groundskeeping including mowing, trimming, weed clean up and trash removal
- Comply with safety regulations.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
- Hours may vary during the summer months
- Position requires you to be able to work during all weather conditions since this is an outside venue.
- Position requires physical activity such as walking, standing, climbing stairs and lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ in all weather conditions
