About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Radiologist to join our team, serving a close-knit, small community in San Marcos, TX. As the onsite radiologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our community members, offering comprehensive expertise across a range of imaging modalities, with the added responsibility of performing light interventional radiology (IR) duties. This position is ideal for a well-rounded radiologist comfortable with a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging and light IR procedures. You will work primarily onsite, interpreting studies from our local community hospital and providing timely and accurate diagnoses for patients. Your role will have a meaningful impact on the healthcare of this small but close-knit community.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging interpretations, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and body imaging.
• Perform light interventional procedures such as image-guided biopsies, thoracentesis, paracenteses, and ultrasound guided breast biopsies.
• Work onsite at our San Marcos facility, serving the local community with high-quality imaging services.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare providers to support optimal patient care.
• Ensure timely and accurate interpretation of imaging studies, with a focus on patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and case reviews as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiology best practices and technologies.
