About The Position

POSITION: Day Custodian LOCATION: Forest Hills RATE OF PAY: $29.32/hr HOURS PER DAY: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week START & ENDING TIME: 5:30am-2pm WORKING DAYS PER YEAR: 260 PAID TIME OFF: 12 paid holidays and paid vacation and sick days. QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED: High school diploma or equivalent. Boilers license at level required at the building or ability to obtain within probationary period. Ability to obtain bus driver’s license by end of probationary period. Three years’ custodial experience, preferably in a school setting. Ability to perform minor repair jobs as directed. Ability to prioritize work assignments. Ability to meet the public & communicate with students. Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and take direction from multiple sources. Ability to read and comprehend basic operating instructions. BOILER'S LICENSE INFORMATION : To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a Special Engineer’s License. TESTING REQUIRED: All job offers from Eden Prairie Schools are conditioned upon passing a pre-employment criminal background check and ISD 272 School Board approval. Offers for these positions will also be conditioned upon passing a pre-employment physical abilities test.
