About The Position

The Day Coordinator is primarily responsible for the team's operation, Monday-Fridays during the day. The Day Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Program Specialist.

Requirements

• Residential Coordinator or similar experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in the application of the principles of ABA
• Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal skills, and proven leadership ability
• Active enrollment in, or completion of a Master's degree program

Responsibilities

• Work to ensure the health and safety of consumers and staff
• Teach consumers, implementing all behavior, vocational, and ISP objective programming
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, promote teamwork, and problem solving (scheduling, consumer guidelines, etc.)
• Model excellence in teaching by correctly implementing consumer behavior treatment programs, ISP curriculum, and teaching strategies designed to increase consumer independence
• Prioritize time spent per week conducting sessions, consumer observations, and staff training
• In conjuction with other team supervisors, act as a staff mentor and trainer
• Assist the Program Specialist in the completion of clinical and educational responsibilities
• Complete all documentation for regulatory and licensing purposes
