About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team at TINY TOTS DAYCARE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and a genuine love for working with young children. Requirements

• Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or caregiving is preferred.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children's emotional well-being.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is a plus.
• Understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
• Ability to educate children through creative activities that promote learning.
• First aid certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive teaching approach.
• Provide first aid as needed and ensure the safety of all children at all times.
